[private]The CS-VUE team is eagerly anticipating the release of CS-VUE Version 3.0. Users will login to CS-VUE and view a completely overhauled and fresh design, with the CS-VUE functionality redressed to be even more intuitive to use.

The new interface will also make it much easier for us to implement and release the modules we are planning for later this year.

CS-VUE User Group members are invited to log in and join the forum on this subject:

Now that the Conditions Group Project functionality has been rolled out, what is your feedback?

[private] Introducing a new product feature which allows the user to create a conditions only project. This means that users are now able to view compliancy only of selected conditions that may belong to a number of different permits.

This is a big step in being able to group together only the conditions that relate entirely to each party, and hiding any unnecessary extraneous information.

Condition project ideas:

Annual reporting conditions project

Third party consultancy conditions project

All water quality monitoring conditions project

Site managers’ ongoing site maintenance and compliance conditions project

Any other ideas for conditions projects?

Does this enhancement open the system up to manage other document types better?

If so, what else could be done to improve this?

[/private]

On the “Alerts” tab you will notice that we have added a new expiry alert in addition to all your usual alerts:

Expiring in 5 to 10 years

This is to help quickly identify consents that are due to expire within the next five to ten year period. Clicking on the hyperlinked number will take you directly down the page to that section.

This enhancement should prove particularly useful for all our Council users when working on Long Term Plans.

You may have noticed a few extra buttons and drop down menus on the Browse Page, in summary these changes are:

To get more from the new enhanced condition reporting, you are also now able to filter consents by those assigned responsibility for conditions within any consent.

Consents can be sorted by consent number, granted date, and expiry date for faster searching.

You may also notice that the “Activity” list is shorter; it now only displays the activity types assigned to active consents in your database.
